Simple, three-component architecture for development and delivery

MAP consists of three components. The Seregon MAP Design Studio defines the business application for the Seregon Mobile Runtime, which executes the application on your handheld device. As well, the Seregon MAP Design Studio defines the synchronization rules for Seregon MAP Data Synchronizer, which runs on a server and acts as an intermediary between the database and your handheld device.

  • MAP Design Studio

    Quick to learn and easy to use by anyone familiar with the data structures in your application. Build complex Enterprise Applications in a drag and drop environment - Includes GUI design, database definitions, synchronization rules and workflow

  • MAP Mobile Runtime

    A small-footprint engine that is installed on the smartphone and executes applications developed using MAP Design Studio.

  • MAP Data Synchronizer

    A server-based synchronization engine that ensures that data on the handheld and in the application database are always in synch.

  • MAP Admin Console

    A web based management console to administer device deployments. All application updates are made over the air, control user permissions and device licencing

  • MAP Synchronization Technology

    Allows your applications – and virtually all the data – to reside on the device, giving workers instant access to their information – regardless of wireless coverage or signal strength. This approach is far superior to typical browser-based or forms-based approaches that require frequent over-the-air data queries – which can be slow, require the wireless network to be available, and impacts application performance.
